Jordan Storm is currently the Development Manager for Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter.
Jordan is in charge of The Longest Day fundraising campaign for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Southeastern Virginia region. Prior to joining the Alzheimer’s Association, she worked at the Virginia Beach Friends School, the last two years as the Development Director in charge of the school’s Annual Fund, annual gala event, grant writing, outreach and communications.
Before transitioning into the field of development, Jordan taught undergraduate and graduate communications and media studies at Norfolk State University, and before that Syracuse University, where she did her doctoral studies at the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, and the University of South Carolina, where she did her Master’s of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies from Rutgers University.
Prior to teaching Jordan worked as a communications and marketing professional for the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs, Morris Communications in Augusta, Georgia and IGI Publishing in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
