Board of Directors
HRBOR Directors volunteer time and effort to support our local LGBTQ+ business community and gain access to a variety of benefits:
Increased public exposure and opportunities to build business
Leadership development skills and experience that benefit your company, and speaking/presentation skills
Strategic planning and thinking
Expanded professional connections that benefit you and your clients
National exposure for you and your company
Increased communication and interaction between professionals in the community
Opportunity to influence the future direction and benefits of HRBOR
Board Member Time and Cost Commitments
Be a HRBOR member in good standing.
Commit to a three-year term.
Commit to an annual contribution of $300 in either monetary or in-kind contributions.
Serve on a HRBOR board committee (events, membership, legislative, or governance)
Attend monthly board meetings and applicable committee meetings as scheduled.
Attend HRBOR networking events and other functions.
Attend strategic planning meetings on an as needed basis.

The HRBOR Board of Directors meets on the last Tuesday of every month at 5:30 PM. The meeting generally lasts about one hour. Do you have any standing commitments that create a scheduling conflict for you?
